    morning all!

hope is well in your respective bit-o-world!

well patch testing round 2 was a resounding failure! had one big reaction (good...i think.....erm.....) but it managed to mess up other results which means........:

ladies and gentlemen........pollard productions (kind of) proudly present:

    PATCH TESTING III

see the shock and horror of more patches

feel the torment of NO SCRATCHING!

critics* say: 'laugh out loud funny'
'an amazing story of one womans fight over patches, aliens and a shoot out in a cabbage patch'
    'utter rubbish'

coming to a bit of skin near you in october!

besides that, the f1 situation is rather ponderous......hammi makes a mistake.....and ron dennis tries to excuse it....

the did they or didn't they about the ferrari documents is getting very weird... honda have been dragged in to it but apparently they're innocent.....all very strange!

apathy the sheep has decided to take his two pets to dublin for a few days later this month, which will be nice!!!! hopefully he'll buy us a pint of guinness....

    and thats about it folks!

    take care and have fun!

    * i may have made these up......possibly......

    You are The Tower

Ambition, fighting, war, courage. Destruction, danger, fall, ruin.

The Tower represents war, destruction, but also spiritual renewal. Plans are disrupted. Your views and ideas will change as a result.

The Tower is a card about war, a war between the structures of lies and the lightning flash of truth. The Tower stands for "false concepts and institutions that we take for real." You have been shaken up; blinded by a shocking revelation. It sometimes takes that to see a truth that one refuses to see. Or to bring down beliefs that are so well constructed. What's most important to remember is that the tearing down of this structure, however painful, makes room for something new to be built.

    good morning one and all!

so yeah...erm....whats been happening in the sheeops world....

we had a party couple of weekends ago, which was jolly good fun (though my liver would probably disagree).

last week did all those fun things like getting the car serviced......joy joyjoy....its a good diet i tell you, i lost many pounds that day (hohohohho) got a new punto for a courtsey car, and discovered that fiat have now decided that cars don't need back screen that is big enough to be useful....maybe they are hoping to start an evolutionary advancement in drivers.....or it was just a bad design.....

went to stoooo's and allies wedding which was fun! (again see note about the liver) i was even dancing....now thats scary!

and now today for that hell......that torment of the 15th circle of hell........christmas shopping.........aaarrgghhh!

well thats all for now. take care and have fun!

    2. Real tree or artificial? NONE!

    3. When do you put up the tree? NEVER!!!!!

    4. When do you take the tree down? As soon as i see someone sneaked it into the flat!

    5. Do you like eggnog? No.

    6. Do you have a nativity scene? Nopers

    7. Mail or email Christmas cards? Intend to post and normally forget.

    8. Favorite Christmas Movie? There are no good movies for christmas....they tend to lack all that i like....violence, guns and rather large explosions.....

    9. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? Generally the same as what i like to eat for the rest of the year....

    10. Clear lights or colored on the tree? NO BLOODY FAIRY LIGHTS!!!!

    11. Favorite Christmas song? They all suck big ones.....

    12. Travel at Christmas or stay home? Home and work.....

    13. Angel on the tree top or a star?i'd like to stick who ever brought the damn thing on top of the tree, just before i threw the thing out.

    14. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? christmas day would be tradtional

    15. Most annoying thing about this time of year? Oh now thats a question.....people being happy purely because 'its christmas', (try being happy all year round....) people suddenly getting an urge to stick dead trees in their house, the tacky xmas thang in general....the commercialisation of what should be a family time.....(though any time can be family time...)...and thats just the beginning of my rant!

    16. Favorite for Christmas dinner? what i fancy to eat that day!

there...i saw this mini-quiz on a sarahcontray's blog and thought i'd use it to get my traditional rant against xmas out of the way! cheers hun!

    greetings one and all!

i felt slightly compelled to update, as some of you might have been directed here by he who shall not be named's account of canada...apparently i'm covering peterborough.....

firstly, when going to new country i now know to check the smoking situation...in canada..it is banned inside all public places....this i didn't know, though mostly thr weather was ok...when it wasn't smoking became something of an endurence sport......(bam dada bam dada bam bam bam.....(bad rocky music)....) in the red corner, smoke as quickly as possible.....and in the blue corner.....try and put up with the weather and enjoy the nicotine fix! i tried both, and either ended up coughing a lot or freezing...and just for comic effect...once i got my cold...i did both.....heeehee

secondly.....tipping......a strange custom that i was just getting use to....i'm quite happy with 'keep the change mate' tipping...but suddenly you have to calculate a decent amount to tip, that a: won't break the bank and b: won't incur wrath of normally happy staff. Note to self.....no tipping after 4 pints.....it makes the staff very very happy......

    so peterborough,

its not that bad really (contry to what a barstaff bod at the hotel in toronto may have said.....) theres enough to do to fill a couple of days...theres the canoe musuem, which is actually rather interesting.....theres a lot more history to the canoe that one would imagine.....oh and a rather confused craftsman who asked how we were, reply....ok.....he said 'you must be better than ok....hows about great......' reply 'we're english'. that seemed to sort the whole issue out.

theres a lock lift (biggest in the world don't you know.....) which shut during the middle of septemeber...( a small fact i would have liked to have known before i walked 30mins in the cold and over a rather large hill.....) but it did look impressive. near the lock lift was a small musuem all about the town...and bats.....(theres something going on about bats there...even the ROM had a bat exhibition.....) and lastly on the musuem side, theres the original stone house in peterborough.....built in 1840's......that was quite cool, they were decorating for a halloween party, but the woman who ran it refused to send me away and gave me a guided tour plus preview of decorations....sweet!

the smoking thing was good for meeting people, but not for being asked if i watched cornation street....., and for getting offered 'interesting' cigerettes......the finest in canada apparently...

erm....yeah....for those who know about my epic tale of woe with my skin....it kicked off again and ended me in e.r for a few hours.....and now i'm off work again with it....joy oh joy....

and the flight back.....erm...an interesing flight... the person in front comandeered my leg space with her chair, the person behind kept standing up and leaning on my chair (i swear...frequently...he almost hugged me at one point)...and i had one arm in a sling..... and i too could smell Elbows McFatass...but not as much as ryan.....

canada is great, a place i shall be returung to....jolly nice people, jolly nice beer and i have a cunning plan to be become an inspector for the british theme pubs.....now all together 'cor blimey maaary pawpins'
